I am convinced that yoga and pilates classes are the reason I have been able to maintain this physically demanding career for so many years.
I have worked as a choreographer and teacher, helping to improve the posture, movement skills and in some cases voices of singers at the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music as well as honing the waltzing skills of Ralph Fiennes for the film of Eugene Onegin.
I taught ballet at some of London’s leading theatre and dance colleges including West St. school, Italia Conti and London Studio Centre. It was here that I began incorporating some yoga and pilates into my classes as I found it benefitted my students enormously in terms of strength, flexibility and alignment.
In 2000, I completed my pilates teacher training course with Body Control Pilates and now hold their advanced matwork certification. As part of my ongoing development as a teacher I continue to learn from exceptional teachers such as Elizabeth Larkam, Eric Franklin ,Alan Herdman and Miranda Bass.
I recently graduated from Yogacampus, one of the UK’sleading yoga teacher training courses and am a registered yoga teacher, accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga.
My most influential and inspirational yoga teachers have been and continue to be my mentor Susanne Lahusen, Tias Little, Dena Kingsberg, Doug Keller, Liz Lark, Claire Missingham and Alessandra Pecorella.
I have witnessed amazing transformations over the years in many different ways. See my testimonials page to see what some of my clients say. |
