A Yurt is a nomadic tent. My Yurt came from Mongolia. It is hancrafted from natural materials and painted with traditional Mongolian designs. It is a lovely, peaceful, organic environment in which to practise Pilates.

I am now teaching private lessons and small groups of up to 5 people in my Yurt.

Private lesson £45
2 people sharing £25 each
3 people sharing £20 each
4/5 people sharing £15 each

If you would like to arrange a private lesson or a small group class please contact me.

Building the Yurt.

Here is my husband Wal (left) with brother Jerry and Wilf. We've already lashed the latticework walls together and Wal is tying the uprights to the 'crown wheel' with horsehair rope

The doorframe is in, the crown wheel is up and we are tying the 80 spindles, which radiate out from the centre, to the top of the wall.
The skeleton is complete - looking good! Now the really hard work of draping the 5 layers of fabric which insulate the Yurt and make it waterproof.
Nearly finished. Wal tightens the ropes which go all the way round the structure and hold it all together.
The yurt is complete - still a lot of tidying up to do tho!
